  1. Do students have to be a certain age to participate in a class?
    Our instructors specify the ages welcome for each class. Age requirements are listed on each class description.
  2. Do you offer private classes and events?
    Select individual and group private lessons are available. We also offer private group paint events for birthdays, ladies night out, wedding parties, school functions, corporate gatherings and more. Please email us if you’re interested in a private event.
  3. I want to stay informed - Do you have a newsletter?
    Located on our homepage, we encourage you to join our Maker's Memo. You will receive quarterly updates on Aspire Artisan Studios & Folk School's news, upcoming classes and events.
  4. Where are Folk School classes held?
    Folk School classes are typically held in the newly restored North Barn at the Historic Andrew Peterson Farmstead, which is also the host site of Aspire Artisan Studios & Folk School.

    Aspire Artisan Studios & Folk School is dedicated to offering classes that teach, promote and preserve historical arts, trades and skills.
  2. How do I register for a class?
    Go to our "classes" page and click on your Folk School class of choice. This will bring you to our registration page where you can then register for the class.
  3. I'm interested in becoming an artisan instructor at your Folk School, but how?
    We are passionate about supporting and partnering with local artists in the community. If you are interested in sharing your talents with Aspire Artisan Studios & Folk School, please send us an email and our team with be in touch.
  4. What if I need to cancel my class registration?
    Please give at least two weeks notice if you will not be able to attend the class. You will then be refunded the full class price, less a $30 cancellation fee.
